I have been passionate about fashion for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I eagerly immersed myself in fashion magazines, always keeping a close eye on the latest trends. I always wanted to go to the mall and buy all the new things, especially those that my friends had. My parents instilled in me the value of responsibility, teaching me that if I wanted something new, I needed to earn it. Brands like Abercrombie, Hollister, and Express captivated my interest, and I’m sure many of you can relate to the ever-evolving styles across different eras. It’s amusing to watch Instagram reels showcasing the fashion trends of bygone years, such as 2003 or 2010. It never fails to bring a smile to my face as I reflect on why I once thought certain styles were in vogue. However, as I’ve grown older and become a parent, my fashion sense has undergone a transformation. I now prioritize comfort in my day-to-day attire while still aiming to appear polished. Following the birth of my first son, my husband surprised me with a few Lululemon pieces, and that marked the beginning of my deep affection for the brand. As I navigated the journey of finding confidence and comfort in my changing body, Lululemon’s apparel had a profound impact on how I felt. Not only is it incredibly comfortable, but many of the pieces are versatile, easily transitioning from casual to more refined looks. Although I naturally gravitate towards a casual style, I always strive to exude a sense of effortlessness and sophistication. I think as moms, we can all relate. We are just trying to do the best we can and if we can look put together even if other parts of our life are a little chaotic, then we have accomplished something. As I have navigated through my fashion journey through my life, I think the important thing I have found is wear whatever makes you happy and gives you confidence. There are different phases of life, but you need to do what works for you.
